🍄🌿Lia UW-AAB of Cottage Critter Care🌿🍄

Lia UW-AAB (University of Washington Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist) of Cottage Critter Care, is a lifelong animal lover with a history of caring for families’ furry friends. She has years of professional experience working in dog care facilities, countless nights spent pet sitting for friends and family, a passion for knowledge that led her to taking veterinarian tech courses, and a lifetime of love caring for her beloved pets.
Big or small, Lia knows all about dogs and will care for your pet like she cares for hers. Her experience working in doggy daycare and boarding means that she’s ready for the day-to-day requirements of pet care, but Lia is also prepared for times of emergency. She has helped pets through medical emergencies by providing life saving first aid, has sheltered dogs escaping a fire at a local establishment, and is ready to use her medical knowledge when it matters most.
Most importantly, Lia shares her home with Maxine, a Schnauzer mix that her family rescued from the streets; Soot, a black cat she nursed to health after she found him abandoned in a graveyard; and Yamper, a rambunctious corgi that she’s raised from a puppy. She knows that pets are beloved family members, and she’ll treat your family with the love that she shares with hers.

Case and their pup Maxine

🍄🌿Case of Cottage Critter Care🌿🍄

Case is Lia's fiance and an animal lover as well. Their introduction to animal care was scooping Maxine off the streets and bringing her into a loving home. While they don't have the professional experience Lia has, Case has learned a thing or two from living with her and can promise that your pet will receive the same loving care that their pets do.

🍄🌿Yamper of Cottage Critter Care🌿🍄

Yamper is a 2 year old tricolor corgi who loves to play tug, chase, and herd, he's been trained and acclimated to many distractions, dogs, and the like. He's a really solid pup with a bit of spunk. He loves to chill out and prefers if dogs are more on his level. We're his fourth home since many of the people who had them previously didn't understand that these viral adorable pups are very driven and need a job to do or they'll be too much. Thankfully we were there for him and we've given him all the love in the world as we will do for your pups!

🍄🌿Maxine of Cottage Critter Care🌿🍄

Maxine is a 6 year old Miniature American Shepherd x Schnauzer that we found as a street dog when we lived in Atlanta. She's an amazing pup who's very maternal and is a quiet and well behaved girl. She is an absolute love bug and will demand all of your attention and will cuddle you without consent.

🍄🌿Soot of Cottage Critter Care🌿🍄

Soot is a 6 year old black domestic long haired cat. I (Lia) found him in a graveyard while visiting my grandmother. He was a small puff of smoke whose eyes were caked shut with mucus as he had an upper respiratory illness. I took him in and nursed him back to health having to bottle feed him as he was so tiny. He's a rapscallion who loves to eat objects he shouldn't such as: a penny and a dog toy. He's the most expensive free pet I've ever gotten, but I wouldn't trade him for the world.
